Denim Days

CEBU, Philippines - Denim is looking hotter than ever with trends changing the way we think about jeans and jackets. 

From high street slim-fit flares to Alexa Chung’s collection for AG Jeans, and Saint Laurent’s festival ready thigh high skimming short, there is so much to offer this season.  On the catwalks, Stella MacCartney played it cool with retro-wash dresses, Isabael Marant Etoile caught our eye with mid-wash style, and Burberry’s feather-lined denim jacket has been the trophy of the trend.

At GTW by SM, denim receives a style overhaul this season in every incarnation possible – think dresses, dungarees, jackets, tunics, shoes, and skirts.

Trendy teens can mix styles and play with colors to give denim a whole new attitude. Skinny, slouchy, dark wash or faded – whatever way is preferred to wear denim:

Bohemian.  Pair the all-time favorite denim jacket with a floral dress or printed skirt.

Double Denim. Wear two pieces of denim at the same time.  A light blue denim top paired with navy skinny jeans can look effortlessly cool.

Denim One. Be one and done in coveralls and rompers that celebrate all that is young and fun.
