CEBU, Philippines – The metro's premiere 24-hour fitness center added another service to its already fully loaded fitness menu. Last July 28, the Citigym HIT (High Intensity Training) Zone opened its doors to everyone wanting to achieve their fitness goals. The HIT Zone is Citigym's move towards  CrossFit, which will be offering two programs to be run by fitness professionals who walk the talk and are passionate about fitness, health, and wellness.

In working out at Citigym's HIT Zone, one gets the chance to train with Citigym's pool of medical professionals, highly-skilled athletic coaches and body sculpting experts under two categories: the MET 6, a metabolic conditioning and resistance training done in groups for the six components of fitness; and Sports Performance Training, a program designed for injury prevention and enhancement of performance tailored fit to the athlete and the specific demands of the sport.

The MET 6 programs are Citigym's do-it-right and smart solution to Cebu's growing interest in high-intensity workout routines.  MET6 stands for metabolic six - postural stability, movement efficiency, aerobic capacity, core strength, optimal performance and optimal body composition - the six components of fitness. It is  a specially designed 45-minute high intensity interval training program that metabolically challenges the body  to achieve significant fat loss. The MET 6 workout programs can be availed of at a special per-session price.

Citigym continues to cater to the growing and evolving fitness needs of the Cebuano exercise community.  Aside from providing 24-hour fitness, wellness massage, swimming pool privileges, Citigym also offers various other fitness services like Boxing, TRX Suspension Training, Trigger Point Training, Personalized Group Exercise Trainings in Hip-Hop, Zumba, Yoga etc.
