CEBU, Philippines - Cebu City is set to add another jewel in its crown. Rustan's, the Philippines foremost luxury retailers, expands its flagship department store in the city - aiming to match the emergent lifestyles of the heart of the Visayas.
Bringing with it the premiere labels and a wide assortment of choices the department store has always been known for, Rustan's Cebu now triples its scale.
As it first opened in 1981 along Mango Avenue, Rustan's Department Store in Cebu quickly became the destination for luxury items among Cebuanos and those from nearby provinces. In 1995, it became a part of Ayala Center Cebu, continuing its distinct tradition of offering the finest things.
Now matching Cebu's rise as a global commercial hub and the lifestyle gateway to the rest of the region, Rustan's Department Store Cebu is reemerging a decade later with a new department store complex - all three floors of prime retail space, housing the world's most covetable lifestyle brands. The new Rustan's Cebu now has a whopping10,000 square meters of prime store space!
The new store has specialty levels dedicated to luxurious cosmetics, fashion, and home items. The wide, well-lit, and well-curated shopping aisles make it the only destination for Cebu shoppers looking for the world's top luxury labels, including exquisite new brands.
The first level features the bolstered Men's and Cosmetic sections. Dominating the second level is the Ladies floor, with a wide range of fashion brands. The top floor holds a good variety of home décor.
Exquisite choices and comfort in luxury shopping await the Cebuanos at Rustan's Cebu, starting today. Special deals and gifts are in store for shoppers - up to 25 percent off on selected menswear, as well as rebates and freebies at the Ladies' department. Special discounts of up to 20 percent are offered to students (with valid IDs) in the Young Contemporary section, while parents enjoy 40 percent rebate when they treat their tiny tots at the Children's section. Participating Home and Cosmetic brands are also giving away special gifts.
Today, shoppers may meet-and-greet with designers Criselda Lontok (Criselda Lontok), Pia Hebron (Lady Rustan) and Jojie Lloren (Jill and Luna). Tomorrow, Kryz Uy conducts a fashion styling session. On Sunday afternoon at 3 p.m. at Kidchella is the "Sound of Sunshine Kiddie Fashion Show."
Various other activities have also been scheduled: a Montblanc Calligraphy Session (August 7 to 9); Made-to-Measure sessions by Ascot Chang with Mr. Lincoln Chang and Mr. Justin Chang (August 7 and 8); and The Dalmore Scotch Bar, the world's most revered single malt whisky at the first level. There's also a display of Inspired Living designs featuring Kenneth Cobonpue, Cary Santiago, Teresin Mendezona and Amparito Lhuillier, as well as Home Lifestyle demonstrations of Delonghi coffee machines and Hurom juicers.
