Creative Thinking
"Imagination is more important than knowledge."- Albert Einstein
There's a myth in our culture, which holds that women are more creative than men - and most men believe it. For whatever reason, many men have swallowed this fish story and believe that their role in life is to plod along, cutting the grass, fixing the cars and cleaning the garage without ever having an original, daring, creative thought.
Baloney.
Hidden inside every man's and woman's brain is a foundation of creative energy. Find yours, draw from it, and let the creativity flow. That energy might include music or the arts - two areas in which creativity is useful. But it might include more common pursuits like your career, your home, and even your finances.
Have you hit the glass ceiling at work? Look for creative ways to increase your effectiveness - or better yet, find a new position where you can grow.
Is your home no longer adequate for your growing family? Brainstorm ways to make the most of your space or make low-cost renovations.
Could you use additional income? There are money-making possibilities right under your nose - if you'll be creative in looking for them.
