On February 18 Radisson Blu Cebu welcomed the Year of the Sheep with a grand Chinese feast prepared by Chinese Master Chef Yeung.
Some of the favorite Chinese dishes in the delectable spread include pigeon, roast suckling pig, roast crispy duck and Peking duck roll, beef in Peking sauce, poached shrimp in Chinese Shaosing wine, roast beef short rib in hoisin sauce, stewed assorted mushroom with garden vegetables, and the classics such as live wok noodle station and assorted Chinese dim sum.
Chinese New Year's Eve went in full swing as the traditional Chinese Lion Dance, Lion Dotting, and Yee Sang Tossing highlighted the festivities, which certainly paved the way for prosperity and goodness to fill 2015.

Marco Polo Plaza welcomed the Year of the Wood Sheep, also on February 18, with its annual Yee Sang Tossing ceremony. It was participated in by special guests from the Filipino-Chinese community together with other VIPs. With the Yee Sang Toss, also known as Prosperity Toss, the belief is that the higher you toss, the more luck you will have.
There was also the traditional eye dotting ceremony and lion and dragon dance performed by the Cebu Traditional Wushu Dragon and Lion Dancers and coin tossing.
February 18 was also the launch of "Culinary Impressions of China," a culinary journey that serve sumptuous Chinese dishes on top of the international buffet spread. The food fest highlighted authentic Chinese dishes such as Szechuan chicken, beef steak in Beijing leeks, seafood chow, mein noodles and Peking duck to name a few.
