CEBU, Philippines – Everyone has something to look forward to on February 14, Valentine's Day. Everyone - singles and couples alike. While Valentine's Day is traditionally a big day for lovers, the singles too may join in the fun. Yes, that's the way Valentine's is at Crimson Resort & Spa Mactan.

For the traditional folks, Tempo, the Pan-Asian specialty restaurant offers a four-course romantic dinner with premium wagyu beef and lobster paired with European wine for a romantic evening. Such an elegant way to celebrate the Day of Hearts.

Yet over at Azure Beach Club, Valentine celebration is a whole lot different. The event dubbed as "What's love got to do with it?" is for both singles and couples. Following the traffic light theme, guests identify their status at the entrance by way of colored stickers which they wear during the event to express their intentions. Green for single and ready to mingle, Yellow for those who might give romance a shot and Red for couples who wish to just have fun and enjoy the party. "What's love got to do with it?" is a casual beachside event starting at 4 p.m., featuring the music and sounds of popular DJ Elmer Dado and percussion group Gruppo Tribale.

Home-grown talents and local DJs Arvin Vain and Azure resident DJ Madz Arenas will also join the party and share their own brand of beats and rhythms. Tony Monji who's taking his break from Mallorca, Spain is also spinning during the night to incite the Cebuano dancing feet.

Exciting contests are in place during the Azure party. Couples can join in the longest-lasting kiss contest and do the most enduring lip-lock for the night. Long-standing couples and those who just met are welcome to participate.

The sexiest male and female at the party and the cutest couple in attendance can also have their share of the lime light. Male and female in their best beach and party wears can have a shot at exciting prizes. Photos of guests judged to be the sexiest are to be uploaded to the Crimson and Azure Facebook pages, and the male and female with the most number of likes will receive special prizes. Lovebirds that join the celebration are also to be judged the same way. Prizes include overnight resort vouchers, open bar and VIP access, and free premium booze.

The "What's love got to do with it?" party is guaranteed to be an awesome celebration full of invigorating music, beach fun, cold booze, pyrotechnics and other surprises. The cover charge is inclusive of two bottles of beer per person. Special rate on tapas platter and booze apply for the night.
