CEBU, Philippines – There's a cliché: "The taste buds have memory." This is probably why people miss and long for good food they had tasted.
And it is the principle that prompts Golden Prince Hotel & Suites to re-launch its dinner buffet, "A Taste of Heaven," a set to let diners reminisce the sumptuous taste of a gastronomic feast.
This time, new dishes have been added to the buffet menu. But of course, the hotel's signature dishes, the Beef Salpicao, the Lechon de Carajay and other bestsellers are there to stay. According to Golden Prince marketing specialist Aaron J. Que, they’re featuring some of the "wonders of the culinary world," but with a focus on the ASEAN cuisine.
"A Taste of Heaven" is served for Friday and Saturday dinners, and Sunday lunch. "We're offering the buffet on different days now," Que added, "in preparation for the annex of the hotel and the new restaurant." The 50-room Golden Prince Hotel & Suites is scheduled to open its new 170-room expansion in mid-2015.
Meanwhile, Golden Prince is also introducing its new "Golden Potluck" take-aways. People can now enjoy their favorite dishes at home, and as Christmas is fast-approaching, at parties too. And, being known for its pastries, Golden Prince is offering the "Golden Christmas Goodies," a special holiday edition ideal for giveaways for family and friends this season.
