Feng Shui for Seamen

NONON-SENSEFENGSHUI - Aldric Dalumpines FengShui Master - The Freeman

Many an instance when I come across clients from both sides of the seaman market. Both the manning agency and the seaman aspirant himself, or if not, his closest of kin - like the real wife!

And the million dollar question they always ask, even by mothers whose son just graduated the seaman training: Master, will he be able to go aboard ship?

Also, back to back to this question is their interest on what feng shui lucky charm such as what to wear to attract or induce this eventful aspiration that will hopefully tide their families from poverty! And, mind you, the interest is so widespread, according to manning agency clients.

This inspired the writing of this guide for harnessing the luck of good voyage for aspirants and their loved ones.

Definitely, for many an aspiring seaman wanting to board ship in gainful employment will not be short of personal motivation and determination. But in feng shui, even hard work and industriousness, let alone desire, are not enough to succeed!

So before sailors become victims of unscrupulous recruiters as well as fake feng shui consultants, here is a handy checklist of what to do to harness luck:

1. Luck, like love, begins at home. Attract luck by first having your house or residence feng shuied by a qualified feng shui expert, even if you are just renting the place.

2. Follow the feng shui instructions religiously: what to wear or your lucky colors, and most of all what to avoid or the incompatible Chinese zodiac signs for you in terms of dealing with recruiters or placement manning agencies. It only requires an inquiry on the birthday of the principal owner or president or general manager of where one applies, easily available if you are creatively resourceful.

3. Comply with all regulatory paperwork requirements. Also, in doing so, should you need to resort to financing, do so only on a lucky or auspicious day. Again, an advice is easily obtainable from any well-meaning feng shui expert. So before you even sell the carabao, so to speak, be feng shui guided accordingly! More so to prevent you from selling your soul unintentionally.

4. For transactional protection along the way, so as not to be swindled or be had in the process, wear tiger eye beads on your left wrist as you go through the application procedures, even medical!

5. The best lucky charms to engage or have is a sailing ship like those galleons or sailboats done as prisoner handicraft projects available locally (i.e., under the Quiapo bridge in Manila or any handicraft souvenir shop in the malls or local areas). Any size will do. Any type too, bottled up or not. Place this with the ship facing inward on the right side of your main entrance door at home as you enter!

And to stimulate easy employment, you may put a turtle figurine on it relative to the size of the ship, or alongside if you have a sizeable turtle, even a live pet in a fishbowl!

So, there, start with the right moorings or footings! Start with the good feng shui of your home!

Remember, in seeking the non-elusive dream of boarding a ship gainfully as a seaman, that life and housewives or loved ones in the house are the real reason for your wanting to do so! And that while a house is built with wall and beams, a home is built with love and dreams. Good luck and happy sailing!
