CEBU, Philippines - Here’s an idea: Why not establish a new attraction in Lapu-Lapu City, one that can literally rise to heights of up to 150 meters from the ground?
A giant helium balloon with a diameter measuring 22.80 meters and a height measuring 34 meters could easily lift a specially designed passenger gondola, from where passengers are afforded with an exhilirating panoramic view of the Historic Resort City.
Impossible you say?
Chances are, you have yet to hear of the new Cebu Helium Balloon.
As the latest addition to Lapu-Lapu’s growing roster of attractions, the Cebu Helium Balloon is the first recreational ride of its kind in the country – one that offers its passengers an incredible bird’s eye view of the popular spots, resorts and islands surrounding the Hadsan Beach Complex in Barangay Agus, Lapu-Lapu City.
Celebrating its inaugural take-off on August 15, the ride can accommodate up to 30 passengers in one go, and can rise to heights of up to 150 meters from ground level – with each ride lasting for about 15 minutes.
Operated by the Korean-owned company Aura Inc., the new attraction’s Aero30NG (Helium Balloon) is made by France Aerophile – whose 19 years’ experience in the field hints of the ride’s high safety and security standards.
To those on the lookout to try something new in Cebu, the Cebu Helium Balloon is now there. Inquiries may be directed at phone numbers 0916-281-1234 and 0921-994-1234.
