Hello and goodbye get together

CEBU, Philippines - A nn Momongan of Korean Air - Cebu invited industry  friends for the despedida of affable outgoing Regional Manager Mr. Hyung Soo Kim and the welcome dinner for youthful incoming Manager Mr. Park Jung Wook.

Supporters from the travel trade group came together with friends from media attended the dinner at the al fresco El Viento Restaurant of the Marco Polo Plaza recently. Mr. Hyung, who goes back to Seoul after his Cebu stint, requested his Cebuano friends to extend their much-needed support to his successor. For his part, Mr. Park shared his vision of more exciting things to come for Korean Air under his watch.

New Lifestyle Cable TV Channel

 The Queen City of the South has just got another cable television channel. It offers viewers the beauty of various places in the Philippines, including local festivals. Touted as the largest lifestyle network in Southern Philippines, the Island Living Channel (ILC) is now on SkyCable Channel 34.

 

ILC is a Filipino based TV station in English format that started in 2006. The network has expanded and is now widely viewed in most major cities and municipalities in the Philippines, reaching millions of Filipinos and tourists. “We are now broadcasting 24/7 to 75 major cities and towns in the Philippines, recently including Cebu City, and growing,” says Chairman and CEO, Radjie E. Caram Jr.

 

ILC can also be seen in several airport and seaport terminals, and fast crafts in the Visayas and Mindanao provinces such as Bacolod, Iloilo, Boracay, Cebu, Cagayan de Oro, Zamboanga and other places.
