A New Beginning
The Cebu Art Association, the oldest art association in Cebu, opened their latest exhibit entitled "A New Beginning" at the Qube Gallery at the Henry Hotel last May 22nd.
Members of the Cebu Art Association who participated in the exhibit were: Jose "Kimsoy" Yap, Dennis "Sio" Montera, Mar Vidal, Jess Najarro, Bonifacio Gaco, Ramon de Dios, Bobby Gonzales, Boy Barrientos, Irvin Balot, Kerby Beloy, Sharon Handang, Nestor Zamora, Jose Brillo Villaver, Chicoy Romualdez and Kherta Sanchez.
Of course, Qube owners Jon Gotiong and Maris Holopainen were very much present during this event, as well as art collectors and lovers of art.
It may be recalled that the Cebu Art Association, for all its 77 years of existence, is still very much alive today, continually giving art the distinction it deserves in Cebuano society, said writer April May Tudtud.
Sorry to say but the exhibit is only up to this day, Thursday, June 12, 2014, at the Henry Hotel, One Paseo, Maria Luisa Road, Banilad, Cebu City.
