Prism: 7 Shades of Summer

CEBU, Philippines - Summer's vivid hues, graphic patterns and chic neutrals all took center stage in last week's "Prism: 7 Shades of Summer" fashion show, held at The Northwing of SM City Cebu.

Highlighting the latest collections of the mall's best-loved brands, the metro's favorite runway models shared the catwalk with local Cebuano personalities - whose individual styles were put on the spotlight during the show's run; each saying something about how cool shades that are as varied as the summer sky or how fiery reds and tribal hues deserve a spot in one's closet this season.

Stylish siblings Kim and Karl Arcenas, Kathrynne and Kirk Cuizon, Ange and Marie Hussenet, Tomas and Marcel Pesch, Regina and Julie Urbina, and Patrice and Thiza Uytengsu shared the runway with the adorable Finn Aldeguer, Jack Booth, Sabi Fernan, Ariana Gonzalez, Jacob Hyatt, Tamara Jarque, Elizabeth Zoe Lee, and Amalia Ugarte.

Couples Charles and Barbie Calunod, Randy and Angel Pages, Carl Miko Santos and Antonette Ynoc, Taino and Judy Tenney, and Carlo and Stephanie Villarica also made their modeling debuts during the show.

The fashion show effectively exemplified how gummy-pink dresses, canary-print maxis and v-neck empire dresses matched with funky accessories can really enliven the look of summer. It was presented in collaboration with Closet Collection, Folded & Hung, Forever 21, For Me, Gingersnaps, Isis, Islands Souvenirs, July, Loalde, Mango, Memo, Nautica, Oxygen, Penshoppe, Plains & Prints, Terranova, XOXO, and What a Girl Wants.
