Alessia Anzani Christening (Mommy on Board)

CEBU, Philippines - Parents for the third time, Marco and Kate (neé Dychanco) Anzani, welcomed newest little blessing, Alessia Valentina, who was christened on the 21st of December 2013 at the St. Francis Xavier Chapel of the Sacred Heart Parish.

The ceremony, officiated by Fr. Ian Balankig, was made complete by eight godparents, namely: Carlo Cordaro, Christina Garcia Frasco, Dale Rennie, Gerry Montanus, Kumiko Onda, Lori Blackburn, Shelah Dychangco and Shige Onda who were all present to witness Alessia's entrance to the Christian world.

Having a Christmas theme with fresh poinsettias, a beautiful and ever so intimate cocktail and dinner reception followed. The band Serendipity was playing in the background at the Anzani Residence in Nivel. The menu mainly revolved around Christmas food, all catered by Anzani. It was a bountiful feast amidst all the bittersweet moments from the recent storm and earthquake. Handouts were pink crystal baby pacifiers that looked elegantly on a glass base.

As a new baby brings forth a new blessing and a new season of hope for the future and next generation, everyone present was overwhelmed with happiness on the newest addition to the family. Congratulations to Marco and Kate on the christening of their baby girl, Alessia!
