CEBU, Philippines - Whew! Just when I thought I could get out of last month’s overwhelming string of back-to-back events by skipping our annual fiesta celebration, nah! May 31st turned-out to be the best clincher of them all. But I’m gonna shush about it (yes, I know my Facebook and mobile will be flooded with all the queries). Thus before I might be obliged to tell you more about it, let me spill the beans on what happened earlier.
While most of northern America and Mexico (for that matter), commemorated Cinco de Mayo, here in Liloan, Mark Cabatingan celebrated his 31st! It was a Sunday evening of feasting in the company of dear friends and family. And by family, that means it includes my brother Rum and half-sister Coke. Excuse me, how did I get home?
On a similar event, Gilcy Yanna Wagas, marked her 18th birthday with black and white. Set at the rooftop of Margarita’s Family Cuisine, the skies filled up with fun, music and lots of good food as the soiree came into full swing. Yes, leave it to the debutant to cast twist on her 18 roses. Instead, it was 18 shots! Trust me, it was dancing the whole night away. No flowers here. Ahhh… excuse me, how did I get home?
Finally, on the last Saturday of the month, the much-anticipated third installment of Lifedance came to life as partyphiles converged for this final event of the summer. Yes, I was there with my posse for the all access experience. Thanks to the feisty duo of Bing Torre and Joseph Bontilao, your company made it even more eventful. Cheers and kisses for you guys! By the way, how did I get home?
