Niño Antonio Suñaz took for his lifetime partner Coleen Grace Calero in a wedding ceremony officiated by Fr. Ernesto Javier, S.J. at the Sacred Heart Church last January 7, 2013. Niño is the son of Antonio and Emma Suñaz and Coleen Grace is the only child of Paul and Susan Calero.
The principal sponsors were: Mayor Michael Rama and Mrs. Rosario V. Utzurrum; Judge Ireneo Gako and Mrs. Julita Ortiz; Dr. Alfonso Amores and Mrs. Thelma Aznar; Atty. Ramon Ceniza and Mrs. Humilde Caoile; Engr. Following the church ceremony, reception was held at the Grand Ballroom of Marco Polo Plaza Cebu.
But what’s so special about this affair was: Susan, mother of the bride, aside from being a nurse, is also a popular designer. She made the bridal gown of her daughter Coleen Grace, and all the gowns of the Ninangs, as well as the members of the wedding entourage. It took Susan and her girls more than a month to finish all the gowns, including her fully-beaded gown. To Susan, kudos for a job well done.
