Allow me to gloat but I found my first pair of reworked cowgirl boots for a song from What a Girl Wants and I am just one happy fashionista.  After initially rocking the style scene in the previous year, the cowboy boots will be back with a vengeance, ready to steal the style scene with a fresh twist.  Expect the cowgirl boot to come in various mutations from cutaways, metallic details, reptile skin, and what not.  Meant to be showed off, rock this trend with skiny ankle-length jeans or a pair of short shorts.

THE DUDETTE CAP. Some people call it the baseball cap; the punk crowd calls it the dudette cap.  Regardless of its name, the dudette cap will be sportswear’s stronghold come 2013 as it exerts a key influence on the fashion scene with its effortless sense of cool.  For lazy days spent on donning the basics, the dudette cap is a nifty way to up the style factor of even the plainest white tee and denim shorts combo.
