CEBU, Philippines — Cebuano ACEs cheered for the five-member group consisting of Gelo, Akira, JL, Mikki, and Nate as they performed their hits “Sabay” and “Patintero” with their perfectly synced choreography.
The guys then participated in a few games with some influencers including TikTok’s Cebuano comedian Zeke Abella. He, Mikki, and Nate won a memory-testing game that had them stacking cups labeled with halo-halo ingredients that matched the sequence shown on screen.
Meanwhile, Kim performed her renditions of Meghan Trainor’s “Better When I’m Dancin’” and Karencitta’s “Cebuana” -- displaying how she still has that “it” factor even years after her 2006 showbiz debut as winner of “Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition.”
The Cebuana star also interacted with KimPau fans in the crowd and gave away her custom-made halo-halo to one fan.
Kim’s appearance wouldn’t be complete without promoting her current projects such as “Linlang” airing on TV5, Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, and A2Z. She jokingly asked her fans in Cebuano not to pull her hair over the actions of her controversial character Juliana.
She also promoted her latest digital series “What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim?”, which again has her co-starring “Linlang” actor Paulo Avelino. KimPau’s latest online teleserye is the Filipino adaptation of the popular K-drama of the same name that starred Park Seo-joon and Park Min-young.
