CEBU, Philippines — Baron Geisler has a full plate, with upcoming film and television jobs keeping him occupied.

He has been playing one of the antagonists, Janus Salazar, in the ABS-CBN primetime series “The Iron Heart.” As the series is being shot primarily in Cebu, most of the cast were initially familiarizing themselves with the locale.

But not for Geisler, who has transferred his base to Cebu City since marrying a Cebuana psychologist. “I have been living in Lahug for five years now and at this point, I am a Cebuano, or rather, an adopted son of Cebu,” he told The FREEMAN in a recent interview.

It won’t take long for viewers to see the actor in another project. On the big screen, he will star with the mother-son tandem of Maricel Laxa and Donny Pangilinan in “GG”, which Geisler described as “the first gaming movie in the Philippines.”

On television, he’s part of the upcoming edgy teenage series “Senior High” with Andrea Brillantes, Xyriel Manabat, Zaijan Jaranilla, Elijah Canlas, Cebuano actors Kyle Echarri and JK Labajo, as well as veteran actors Angel Aquino, Mon Confiado, and Sylvia Sanchez.

“God is so good…ABS-CBN gave me a leading role,” he said. – (FREEMAN)
