Using her popular Tiktok account, Andrea Brillantes urged fellow first-time voters to choose Vice President Leni Robredo as president in the May 9 polls.

“First time voter? Yes.

At first, Andrea admitted she had a difficult time choosing her presidential bet, due to her trust issues and fear of being bashed online for expressing support for a particular candidate.

Naniwala naman ako ng very slight,” she explained.

Ilang beses mo nang narinig yun?” she added.

But Andrea had a change of heart when VP Leni decided to run for president, saying her fear was replaced with courage that inspired her to speak out on her choice for the country’s next leader.

Hindi ako marunong mangampanya, pero ginagawa ko kasi gusto kong ipanalo natin ‘to,” she said.

Andrea made her first appearance for VP Leni during the Vice President’s record-breaking birthday rally on April 23 in Pasay City where more than 400,000 supporters attended.

Ms. Pokwang denies there is an issue between her and fellow Kapuso comedienne Ms. Ai Ai delas Alas. She belied media reports during her contract signing and launching as brand ambassador of Klio, a local brand of household plastic products.

She said she and Ai Ai already met twice on the “All Out Sunday” studio and they were cordial with each other.

Pokwang said having been in showbiz for two decades has made her accept intrigues as part and parcel of the job. Yet she can’t help but get hurt sometimes if a colleague makes a nasty remark on her post just because they happen to support different presidential bets.

The comedienne is very thankful to the owners of Klio for trusting her to be their brand ambassador. Pokwang said she uses Klio food containers for her food business that includes her best sellers of “laing” and roasted chicken.

The owners of Klio are confident that with Pokwang as endorser, their products will become household names and more consumers will buy it.
