CEBU, Philippines - Psalmstre chief executive officer Jim Acosta announced that his company pledged support to Prime Event Productions Philippines (PEPPS) Foundation, Inc. in its mission of sending the country’s representatives to the world’s most sought-after male pageants.
In a meeting with PEPPS executives, Acosta said he is happy that Carlo Morris Galang, the organization president, considered him for this partnership. Galang and Acosta have been longtime close friends.
“The Philippines is a powerhouse not only in female beauty pageants but in male beauty pageants as well. The country has been producing male title holders in international pageants already in the likes of Mr. Manhunt International 2012 Jun Macasaet, Mr. International 2014 Neil Perez, and Mr. World first runner-up 2013 Andrew Wolff to name a few. Psalmstre, being an advocate of intelligence and beauty, decided to tie up with PEPPS and support its candidates in their international competitions,” said Acosta, who is the president of the Mr. and Ms. Olive-C Campus Model Philippines.
This year, PEPPS will be sending two of its strongest candidates in international pageants very soon. They are Filipino-Indian Karan Singhdole for Man of the Year International 2016 to be held in Pekanbaru, Riau, Indonesia on August 22 and police hottie Don Mcgyver Cochico for Manhunt International 2016 to be held in Shenzhen, China on October 29.
The 23-year-old true-blooded Indian, who was born and raised in Laguna, Philippines, is already in Indonesia for the pageant. Based on the latest ranking done by worldwide pageant reviewers, Singhdole is among the Top 5 early favorites. He stands at 6’2”and speaks five languages: Punjabi, Bengali, Hindi, English and Filipino.
Galang said that PEPPS continuously appreciates Psalmstre’s willingness to support their cause. He added that Acosta’s company has always been a regular sponsor of their events.
“PEPPS treasures the friendship, both personally and professionally, Jim and his company extended to us. It is beyond business. They are always there for us. For that, we are forever thankful,” said Galang. (FREEMAN)
