CEBU, Philippines – Even before FHM Philippines published its very first issue in 2000, actress Ina Raymundo was already regarded as one of the country’s sexiest women.
Although she started her career as a cast member of the political satire series “Abangan ang Susunod na Kabanata” in 1991, it wasn’t until she appeared in that classic “Sabado Nights” commercial of San Miguel Beer in 1995 that Ina became a household name.
Ina even appeared in the music video for “Sabado Nights” with the rock band Rizal Underground and subsequently headlined “Sabado Nights” the movie a year later.
From then on, Ina soared to even greater heights as she bravely took on daring roles in films like “Burlesk Queen Ngayon” in 1999 which included a full frontal bathing scene, “Shame…Bakit Ako Mahihiya,” and “Madame X,” both in 2000.
That same year, Ina was invited by FHM to pose for its cover. In an interview with the magazine, she revealed that on the day of her original FHM photo shoot, she suffered an asthma attack that ultimately prevented her from gracing the magazine’s cover.
Fast forward to 2015, Ina’s “rescheduled” FHM cover shoot has finally materialized. And based on the photographs taken by Mark Nicdao, it looks like Ina hardly aged at all. Now a happily married mother of five, Ina still possesses the same angelic face and well-toned figure that captivated the entire nation 20 years ago.
And because Ina’s allure has not faded one bit, it’s no surprise that she continues to be a sought-after talent for film and television. This year, Ina has appeared in two ongoing teleseryes: ABS-CBN’s “All of Me” and GMA Network’s “Marimar.” — InterAksyon.com
