CEBU, Philippines - Superstar and multi-awarded actress Nora Aunor is now in Iloilo for the filming of her new movie that will be shown at the Cinemalaya Film Festival next year.
Titled “Tuos,” this magic-realist drama will be directed by Derrick Cabrido and co-stars the actress with Barbie Forteza and Ron Martin, the younger brother of Coco Martin.
Ate Guy and the entire cast of “Tuos” will stay in Iloilo for two weeks to finish the movie that will mark the return of the actress to the Cinemalaya indie filmfest where she won the best actress award last year for “Hustisya,” under the direction of Joel Lamangan.
The fans of Ate Guy are also happy with the good ratings that the “Magpakailanman” episode got last Saturday based on the data of AGB Nielsen. The said episode featured Ate Guy in the role of a caregiver, with Ricky Davao playing her husband.
Her fans are also awaiting her return to the GMA fold via the teleserye titled “Little Nanay” where she will co-star with fellow Bicolano actor Eddie Garcia. The original plan was to put “Little Nanay” in the afternoon block but when Ate Guy joined the cast, the GMA bosses decided to put the show on primetime.
Featured with Ate Guy in the series is Kapuso actress Kris Bernal who can’t get over the excitement that she is working in a teleserye with the Superstar.
Also starring in “Little Nanay” are Sunshine Dizon (who requested GMA to put her in the show), Gladys Reyes (who already shot her hair-pulling scene with Ate Guy), Bembol Roco, Hiro Peralta, Chlaui Malayao, Keempee de Leon, Renz Fernandez and Juancho Trivinio. “Little Nanay” is set for airing next month.

The AlDub Nation fans surely got excited with the announcement made by Alden last Wednesday that he and Maine will have a production number on Saturday on the “Tamang Panahon” special episode of Eat Bulaga to be held at the Philippine Arena.
Alden also mentioned that he and Maine had started their solo rehearsals but they have yet to rehearse together for the special number they are preparing for their fans.
Everything is indeed looking up for Alden. His latest album titled “Wish I May” turned platinum the day after the official release of the album under GMA Records. The album achieved gold status even before its release, thanks to the advance orders. For sure, “Wish I May” will sell more copies in the days to come.
Incidentally, Bae Alden is also the special guest of “Bubble Gang” tonight. Featured segments are Dotahan, Facetime and Pa-load gags, Aling Mary (with Alden) where he encounters a hot-headed old maid, Lala Ytera, Viral Video, Puso mo Direk, Political Adviser, Gaystorm warning, Let’s Duet, and the music video “Hugot By Pards” to be done by RJ Padilla, Antonio Aquitania, Boy 2 Quizon, Paolo Contis and Tatalino (Michael V). “Bubble Gang” is now preparing for their 20th anniversary show that should be must-see.
