Defying time for love in ‘All of Me’
CEBU, Philippines - ABS-CBN’s newest romantic drama masterpiece, “All of Me,” will make viewers realize the power of a second chance at love beginning Monday, August 31, after “Doble Kara.”
The romantic drama teleserye revolves around Manuel (Albert Martinez), a 50-year-old man who defies time just to have his last shot at love after he transforms back to his younger self (JM de Guzman).
“All of Me” also marks JM’s major TV comeback after his breakthrough film “That Thing Called Tadhana” became a hit earlier this year.
Joining Albert and JM are rising young actress Yen Santos in her first daring TV role, and hunk-actor Arron Villaflor.
In the story, Manuel, a devoted doctor, decides to leave his flourishing career behind by living in an island after his wife dies. There, he meets Lena (Yen), a young woman who boldly challenges him to embrace life again. Despite the age gap, Manuel falls in love with Lena, eventually marrying her in the island.
During their honeymoon, a hired killer tries to kill Manuel, but he escapes death when he stumbles upon a magical portal that transforms him back to his younger self. A younger Manuel (JM) discovers that time has advanced and now he faces the biggest setback in his life: Lena is now happily married to his former protégé, doctor Henry Nieves (Aaron). How far will Manuel be willing to go for his true love? Will he choose to forget Lena entirely and start a brand new chapter of his life?
Directed by Dondon Santos, “All of Me” will show love’s great power in pushing boundaries and even defying time.
The series will also feature Angel Aquino, Ina Raymundo, Neri Naig, Ana Capri, Micah Muñoz, Jordan Herrera, Sue An Ramirez, and Akira Morishita. (PR) (FREEMAN)
