CEBU, Philippines - In celebration of her 30th birthday, GMA-7 star Marian Rivera will hold an exclusive collections exhibit on August 11, Monday, at The Northwing of SM City Cebu.
Marian will display her different outfits she wore in teleseryes, movies, shows, awards nights, among others. Items will be sold via online auction. Proceeds of the online auction will benefit the Kapuso Adopt-A-Bangka Project in Bantayan Island, Cebu.
Launched in January this year, Kapuso Adopt-A-Bangka Project aims for the long-term, holistic rehabilitation of the fisherfolk communities at Bantayan Island in northern Cebu that were affected by super typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan). On its first wave, Kapuso Adopt-A-Bangka Project was able to raise funds to build and rehabilitate 100 bangkas for the fishermen beneficiaries.
Marian is set to grace the occasion with a ribbon cutting ceremony on August 11, 3 p.m. at the Northwing Atrium, SM City Cebu. The exhibit will run until August 17.
After the occasion, Marian will head on to SM City Consolacion for an afternoon party with the Cebuanos at the Event Centre at 5 p.m.
