CEBU, Philippines - Alliance Française de Cebu in collaboration with Institut Français and Ayala Center Cebu present Cinema en Plein air, or French outdoor cinema.
Four recent movies will be shown this May, bringing to Filipino viewers some of the best family films from France with English subtitles. Both parents and children of all ages will be able to enjoy two animation movies and two successful comedies:
The Painting (Le tableau)

A chateau, flowering gardens, a threatening forest, here is what, for mysterious reasons, a Painter has left incomplete. But the painting’s peace is threatened as the entirely painted characters take over the Chateau and chase the others. To restore the harmony, Ramo, Lola and Plume decide to look for the painter. Throughout the adventure, questions will follow one after the other. Will they one day know the Painter’s secret?
The Dandelions

Cinema en Plein Air will be held every Saturday of May, 6 p.m. at the Ayala Center Terraces. First showing will be this Saturday, May 3. Admission is free.
