CEBU, Philippines - Summer 2014 just got brighter with the arrival of Sunnies by Charlie in Cebu this Saturday, Feb. 22. An independent eyewear and lifestyle brand based in Manila, Sunnies was founded in 2013 in response to the need for quality eyewear at affordable costs. A collaborative effort between four friends, the owners and team behind the brand include Georgina Wilson, Bea Soriano, Martine Cajucom and Eric Dee Jr.
To celebrate its opening, Sunnies will be giving away 100 free pairs to guests. A claim stub will be given to the first 100 people who queue up outside Entrance 6, SM City Cebu, Northwing (Starbucks entrance) on Saturday before the mall opens at 10 a.m. As an added treat, there will be a meet and greet with Georgina Wilson from 12 noon – 1 p.m. at the Sunnies Station for those who bring their sunnies with them.
Already celebrated as a trend-savvy sunglass destination, Sunnies offers curated eyewear with UV protection starting at PHP249. In Cebu, the Sunnies Station is located at the SM Northwing near Kultura starting Feb. 22. (FREEMAN)
