CEBU, Philippines - M Lhuillier, a non-bank financial services company sponsored the OPM fair 2013 arranged by the Organisasyon ng Pilipinong Mang-aawit (OPM) at the South Road Properties Open Field in Cebu last Nov. 24. With hearts on fire for original Pinoy music, the organization successfully pulled off the event this year for the first time in Cebu.
Ogie Alcasid, OPM President and M Lhuillier brand ambassador, led the audience and artists alike to a melodious rally of songs that are all 100% Pinoy. Artists of different genres all shared the stage. The entire effort of presenting immortalized pop songs of the 80s, swag of the modern flip top, and the rioting variety of famous bands received a chorus of appreciation from all enthusiasts who attended.
According to Michael Roma, M Lhuillier’s Events and Promotions Manager, “Pinoy’s love of music is something that is infectious as it is shared universally.†He also added that “as much as this is so we must memorialize our own brand of music and share it to the rest of the world.â€
