Heartbreaking stories in ‘Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho’ and ‘Imbestigador’
CEBU, Philippines - Tonight, award-winning programs “Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho†and “Imbestigador†shed light on some heartbreaking stories about children.
In 2012, the “Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho†(KMJS) team went to Samar to document the lives of boat children. However, this story was not aired yet. After typhoon Yolanda devastated the region, KMJS discovers that the location of the typhoon story they were documenting was the hometown of the boat children - Angelo, Arjay, Nino, and Dino– they have met. Join the KMJS team as they relive how the quiet town of Guiuan, Eastern Samar was like before the devastation of Yolanda.
“Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho†will also feature people’s best-kept secrets – underwear. Many might feel uncomfortable talking about it in the open, but during trying times, some people even collect underwear to help Yolanda victims.
Also in the episode line-up is 17-year-old skater Michael Christian Martinez, who will be the country’s bet in the upcoming Winter Olympics; the heart-stopping video of action star Jean Claude Van Damme that is going viral in the internet; and a mysterious condition plaguing three sisters in Bangued, Abra.
Meanwhile, this Sunday’s “Imbestigador†takes a look on the plight of children who are victims of bullying, following the enactment of Anti-Bullying Act which aims to curb bullying incidents in schools.
“Imbestigador†tells the story of a recent victim, a nine-year-old boy who was mauled by his classmates. He was in a critical condition at first but then later succumbed to death. Aside from bullying, “Imbestigador†also airs a segment on a mother who seeks assistance to reclaim her child allegedly taken by her friend. Refuting the mother’s allegation, the friend says she is just taking care of the kid. Who is telling the truth?
