Knapsack Dancers stage concert for a cause
CEBU, Philippines - The Knapsack Dancers, the official dance group of ABS-CBN Cebu will be celebrating its 20th anniversary tonight, August 28, 2013, 7PM, at University of Southern Philippines Foundation Gymnasium Lahug, Cebu City.
The group will have a two-hour “Concert for a Cause†dubbed as “Knapsack Dancers, 20th Anniversary - All In One at USPâ€.
The show will be joined by artists from ABS-CBN, Miss Cebu winners and ABS-CBN Manila artist Sam Concepcion.
The “USP Batch 1990 High School Scholars†will be the beneficiary of the event.
“This free concert is our way of saying ‘Thank You’ to our friends and supporters who have stood with us for the past years,†said Cinbeth Orellano, Knapsack Productions artistic director.
“It is also our commitment in bringing joy and pride to our fellow Cebuanos especially the youth through songs and dances,†Orellano added. – (FREEMAN)
