Visayas’ Dance Fest 2013 wraps up big Grand finalists for Dance Fest 2013 Cebu on August 10

CEBU, Philippines - August is an electrifying month for the Visayas region as its biggest and most exciting dance competition yet—Dance Fest 2013—holds its grand finals in Iloilo, Bacolod, and Cebu.

Dance Fest 2013, brought by GMA Network in partnership with SM Supermalls, concludes its successful round of intense competition showcasing the best moves of Visayas’ top dancers.

Kicking off the series of grand finals is Dance Fest 2013’s Iloilo leg slated Friday, August 9, at SM City Iloilo’s Event Center at 4pm. Participating in the event are Kapuso artists Mark Herras, Ryza Cenon, Sef Cadayona, and Julian Trono.

For Iloilo’s school category, included in the grand finals are “Kinaadman Dance Crew” of John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University, “ODE of Wit” of Western Institute of  Technology, and “K-Swag Generation” of Mandurriao National High School. The open category features the showdown between “C.N.C,” of Lapaz Iloilo City, “Ground Zero” of Iloilo City Proper, and “Velocity X” of Kalibo, Aklan.

Bacolod’s Dance Fest 2013 Grand Finals follows next Friday, August 16, at the North Transport Hub of SM City Bacolod starting at 4pm. Joining once again are Mark, Ryza, Sef, and Julian to witness the battle between “Hili-ugyon Dance Company” of Hervias National High School, “Choi Force, Jr.” of Domingo Lacson National High School, and “Kadayaw Dance Troupe” of Riverside College for the school category; and “Critical Breakdown,” “YC Rockz,” and “Rockafellas” for the open category.

Grand finalists for Dance Fest 2013 Cebu leg will be determined this Saturday, August 10, during the third elimination round happening at the Event Center of SM City Consolacion at 2pm.

Those who will groove their way through the eliminations are to be pitted against one another on August 23 for Cebu’s Dance Fest 2013 grand finals taking place in the same venue at 4pm. This time, Mark, tagged as the badboy ng dancefloor, will be joined by K-Pop group sensation Down To Mars.
