Marian and Dingdong reunite in Bohol’s Sandugo Festival

CEBU, Philippines - Tagbilaran City’s annual Sandugo Festival just gets bigger and brighter this year as two of GMA Network’s prime stars banner this year’s celebration in the land of the wondrous chocolate hills—Bohol.

Reigning sexiest woman in the country and Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera together with award-winning actor, host, and producer Dingdong Dantes reunite to once again enthuse and move their fans in a Kapuso Night to be held this Sunday, July 28, at the CPG Sports Complex starting at 6pm in Tagbilaran City.

Prior to the Kapuso Night, the cast of top-rating afternoon drama series Maghihintay Pa Rin lead by Bianca King, Rafael Rosell, and Dion Ignacio participate in the Sandugo Festival parade. Hopping in with them are co-stars JC Tiuseco and Diva Montelaba. They are to tour around the streets of Tagbilaran City beginning at 1pm.

GMA’s Assistant VP for Regional TV Oliver Amoroso says, “The Network is truly excited to bring two of its biggest stars in Tagbilaran City to celebrate the Sandugo Festival. Both Marian and Dingdong are in fact delighted to meet their supporters and perform for them up-close. Bianca, Dion, JC, and Diva are all set to party the Bol-anon way as they perform for their fans in the Kapuso Night joining real-life sweethearts Marian and Dingdong.

The Sandugo Festival is an annual commemoration of the blood compact between Rajah Sikatuna and Miguel Lopez de Legazpi in the province of Bohol. (FREEMAN)
