Solenn willing to pay tax deficiencies

CEBU, Philippines - Solenn Heussaff says she is willing to pay whatever taxes she owes the government, although she hinted that it was not entirely her fault that her tax deficiency reached P3.6 million.

Last week, the Bureau of Internal Revenue filed a case against the sexy actress with the Department of Justice, alleging she underdeclared her taxable income by 30 percent.

Solenn had declared a gross income of P6.73 million for 2011 of which P3.3 million is taxable.

But the BIR said that based on its investigation, she actually earned P13.38 million during the year in question.

“I’m an honest person. As transparent as it gets,” Solenn noted in her Twitter account. “Someone made a mistake and I have to fix it.”

“I’m ordinary too. And I do pay my taxes. Now I know not to give 100% trust,” she said.

After making a big issue out of her leaving husband Cesar Montano, Sunshine Cruz is now saying she is ready to forgive all his transgressions.

Sunshine was all smiles during a presscon last week. “I’m a Christian,” she told reporters. “And it’s hard to bear a grudge. You’ll develop more wrinkles that way.”

She admitted that she still loves Cesar. “When you love someone, you will do everything to make that person happy.”

“I will not deny that he’s my first boyfriend, my first everything. So, the love will always be there.”

Before interviewing Sunshine, the press people had a chance to talk to Krista Miller, rumoured to be the reason behind the couple’s break-up. Krista denied that she had an affair with Cesar.

She said the reports that Cesar gave her an iPhone as a Christmas gift are untrue. ”I received a lot of gifts from my suitors and my friends, but never a gift from Direk Cesar.”

Krista said she welcomes a chance to talk to Sunshine to clear the air. She said she resents implications that she wants to break up a family.

It has been four years since Sarah Geronimo and John Lloyd Cruz paired up on screen, but apparently their partnership has not lost its luster.
