Gerald will make "MMK" viewers cry

CEBU, Philippines - Kapamilya drama prince Gerald Anderson will star in the "Maalaala Mo Kaya" episode tonight, which will share the touching tale of a family that remained strong despite life's greatest trials.

Gerald will play the character of the second child of the late Senator Rene Cayetano (to be portrayed by Tommy Abuel), Alan Peter.

For the Cayetano siblings, life was too simple because they had their father Rene who made all the decisions and they would just follow him.

But their worlds suddenly turned upside down when their dad was diagnosed with liver ailment.

How did the Cayetano siblings turn their father's weakness into their family's strength? How hard was it to move on especially when the person who died was the family's main source of 'life?'

Aside from Gerald and Tommy, also part of the upcoming "MMK" episode are Jackie Lou Blanco, Justin Gonzales, Carla Guevarra, Sam Concepcion, Pica Lozano, Empress Schuck, and Eslove Briones.
