12 songs compete for 33rd Cebu Pop Music Festival

CEBU, Philippines -  Twelve Cebuano songs of life and love will compete in the grand finals of the 33rd Cebu Pop Music Festival to be held on January 18, 2013, Friday, 7:30 p.m. at Cebu Coliseum.

Atty. Joseph M. Baduel, the Festival’s Executive Director said that the 12 finalists were chosen from among 113 entries submitted by song writers all over the country.

The Cebu Pop Music Festival, a brainchild of the Cebu Arts Foundation, Inc., President, Congressman Eduardo R. Gullas, gave opportunities to many songwriters and interpreters to flourish in the music industry like Chad Borja, Sheryn Regis, Ana Fegi, Eva Santos, Raki Vega and Vina Morales.

Prizes at stake are P150,000 for the grand champion, P100,000 for the 2nd place, P50,000 for the 3rd place, P10,000 for the best interpreter, and P15,000 each for all the finalists.
