CEBU, Philippines — Publicly-listed Cebu Landmasters, Inc. (CLI) has officially launched WorkNook, its first co-working space, located at Base Line Center along Juana Osmeña Street in Cebu City.

As Cebu continues to position itself as a prime destination for remote work and startups, WorkNook aims to provide freelancers, small businesses, and students with an innovative workspace solution tailored to contemporary professional needs, said Joanna Soberano-Bergundthal, CLI’s Senior Vice President for Marketing and Leasing.

A 2022 study by Cisco revealed that 37 percent of Filipino workers feel constrained by traditional office setups, emphasizing the demand for flexible workspaces like WorkNook.

“Our mission is to support professionals seeking alternatives to working from home by offering a modern and inspiring work environment,” she added.

WorkNook is designed with a focus on productivity and comfort, offering "A fresh way to work" through its contemporary aesthetic and a range of amenities. These include private offices for teams and groups, co-working spaces for individuals, and fully equipped meeting rooms suitable for discussions and presentations. The space is further enhanced with high-speed internet, ergonomic office furniture, secure lockers, and a pantry stocked with coffee and refreshments.

Flexible workspace options are available at competitive introductory rates: PHP 250 for a half-day, P350 for a full day, P1,800 for a weekly pass, and P5,500 for a monthly pass. Private office spaces start at P9,000 per month, while dedicated seats are available at P7,500 per month. Meeting rooms of various sizes can also be rented for four-hour sessions, catering to professionals and business teams.

Strategically situated at Base Line Center, WorkNook benefits from a prime location within a modern mixed-use development. The area features Ascott-branded hotels such as Citadines Cebu City and lyf Cebu City, residential condominiums, an office tower, and a variety of dining and leisure establishments, creating a seamless blend of work and lifestyle conveniences.

The launch of WorkNook marks a another milestone in CLI’s business diversification efforts.

Renowned for its leadership in residential, office, and mixed-use developments, CLI has experienced robust growth in its commercial leasing portfolio. The company reported a 47 percent year-on-year increase in leasing revenues, driven by the addition of 9,219 sqm of new leasable space.
