Filipino Homes’ Global Partners announced its entry to more countries this year, following its successful launching in Dubai.
“We are aggressively opening in Bangkok, United Arab Emirates, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, United States, and Europe,” said Filipino Homes founder and chief operating officer (CEO) Anthony Gerard O. Leuterio.
Global Partners is a pioneering facility that provides Pinoys working or living abroad access to the right information about property investments in the Philippines, and other assistance, under the Filipino Homes Group of companies.
This move is initiated by Filipino Homes to help Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) avoid being scammed particularly in buying real estate properties back home.
The creation of Global Partners around the world is primarily to protect Filipinos working and residing abroad from the proliferation of scammers.
“It creates a community that protects scammers so it will be detected if that real estate investment is real,” said Leuterio.
According to Leuterio, the Global Partners facility will also serve as “eyes and ears” to spot illegal real estate-related dealings abroad.
Moreover, the facility will help developers reach out to the international market, and provide OFW access to all real estate news and new projects.
Global Partners will build a network to help resell and rent the units “they own in the Philippines using the Filipino Homes and Rent.ph network.”
“What is also important in setting up Global Partners is to facilitate smooth transactions of OFWs, especially to connect them with the right banks which offer credit access or loans,” added Leuterio.
Governed by the proven Filipino Homes system, Leuterio expressed commitment that Global Partners will also work with reputable developer partners in the Philippines, ensuring the legitimacy of projects being sold and promoted abroad.
“The goal is to reach out to OFWs in each country and to help them from being victimized by scammers,” said Leuterio.
“We want to be visible in countries that have a good number of Filipinos,” Leuterio noted.
“We give free consultation or advice to prospective buyers. We will also launch a regular talk show to provide an avenue for Filipinos abroad who may have concerns or questions about real estate investment, property management, and other related issues,” he added.
“In our sales mission trips abroad, we discovered that a lot of Filipinos are being scammed in their investments in properties in the Philippines. Global Partner offices’ purpose is to help them come up with the right decision in investing in properties, as well as protect them from being victimized by ‘colorum’ developers and real estate agents,” Leuterio reiterated.
Filipino Homes is a powerhouse of real estate solutions based in Cebu with close to a hundred offices across the Philippines.
