CEBU, Philippines — The Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (CCCI), in partnership with the New Zealand Embassy Manila Office and in collaboration with the CCCI Balamban Chapter and the Local Government Unit of Balamban, Cebu, is now on its final phase of preparations for the conduct of the second set of online Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Training and Life Skills Training for Solo Mothers in Balamban.
The training aims to empower solo mothers with the current ICT and life-skills training programs that will help them seize economic opportunities and fully benefit from the current digital era.
The two-part ICT training will start on March 17 – 23 with one-on-one mentoring sessions on March 24 to April 9. The second part of the training will follow on April 13 – 14, 2021.
The Life Skills Training will be conducted on April 21 – 22, which targets to deepen the knowledge of solo mothers on the mindset and values of entrepreneurs, enhance their self-confidence, and further their knowledge on personal financial management, effective communication and customer service orientation.
The ICT and Life Skills Training in the Island of Cebu Project is made possible with the assistance from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT), and the Department of Information, Communication and Technology (DICT).
