Filipino Homes to launch online training for agents

CEBU, Philippines —  A real estate service solutions provider is set to launch an online training academy to address the need for continued skills development training in the industry under the ‘new normal’.

Filipinohomes Institute of Real Estate (FIRE) was created to aid in developing the skills and talents of real estate practitioners through various courses, said Filipino Homes founder and chief executive officer (CEO) Anthony Leuterio.

Endorsed by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), FIRE is set to go Live starting June 12, 2020.

“Through this institute, members will lead the change in molding the real estate industry through continuous digital learning and becoming better real estate practitioners,” said Leuterio in an online interview yesterday.

“Filipinohomes Institute of Real Estate was born amidst COVID19. We found out that people are stuck up at their homes and we have already anticipated that all comprehensive professional education will be stopped and it will go online. So our company right away last April 2020 invested to make an online school and hired the best trainors in the country to be our resource speakers,” explained Leuterio.

According to Leuterio, FIRE aims to reach out to more Filipinos who don’t have access to real estate education in the country.

He hopes that through the various trainings, FIRE would contribute a positive impact to many real estate practitioners by offering special courses online.

“This is timely, because under the new normal we are already embracing online education, and PRC is backing up this initiative, under its Continuing Professional Development (CPD) program,” he added.

Under the Republic Act #10912 or the CPD Act of 2016, PRC is given the power to accredit internet-based CPD program providers and information technology experts to offer online training programs.
