CEBU, Philippines — The European Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines (ECCP-Cebu) is holding a webinar today, March 30, to help businesses mitigate the difficulties in pursuing continuity of operations while ensuring the containment of the disease.
Entitled “Unfolding Crisis: ECCP Perceptions and Recommendations on COVID-19” the online seminar presents the key findings of the ECCP COVID-19 survey, which seeks to map out the economic impacts on businesses in the Philippines and understand various factors affecting businesses under the enhanced community lockdown period.
“The ECCP recognizes that the fight against the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic is a matter of utmost priority. Companies across all sectors continue to face massive disruptions and unprecedented repercussions that were never seen before,” ECCP-Cebu said in a statement? The survey presents the current situation of ECCP member companies which operations are disrupted due to the global pandemic.
Businesses were also asked on the length of their endurance to sustain the unmoving trade and zero revenue during the crisis.
During the online seminar ECCP-Cebu also updates the members of the measures and support needed from the Philippine government to cushion the impact of the pandemic across various industries.
