CEBU, Philippines - The 2016 Sinulog trade fair ended on Sunday with a total of P6.8 million in sales.
Elias Tecson, business development chief at the Department of Trade and Industry-Cebu, said yesterday there were, however, some receipts not accounted yet.
This year’s sales already surpassed the P5.6-million sales generated from last year’s Sinulog fair, which is annually put up in SM City Cebu.
Delegates of the recently concluded International Eucharistic Congress were the ones that gave boost to the sales, Tecson said, despite that a trade fair was also put up at the IEC Pavillion, where most of the IEC activities were held.
At least 52 traders from various parts of the country participated in the Sinulog fair, selling fashion accessories, delicacies, processed food, decors, health and wellness products and gifts. (FREEMAN)
