Property boom prompts rise in brokerage services

CEBU, Philippines - The promising outlook of the real estate sector in Cebu has prompted support industries like the property brokerage segments to expand its services taking advantage of the strong interest from both local and foreign markets.

Land Asia Realty and Development Corporation announced its partnership with Creators Nook, a website developer/programming company to establish the Land Asia Technology to reach the global market.

Land Asia president Rick Ynting said that his company is investing on the improvement of brokerage marketing strategies.

"Our new corporate website for instance provides accredited Property Consultants to be updated with the new projects, and other movements in the industry and the company. Land Asia online marketers are getting aggressive as well that most of the closed sales come from online marketing," said Ynting, who has been in the property brokerage industry for over two decades now.

This year, the brokerage company also expanded its physical presence in Cebu, with the opening of its satellite offices in Labangon, Mactan, and Ormoc.

"These advancements provide a strong foundation on which to continue Land Asia's aggressive growth strategy and future world-class real estate service," said Ynting.

Earlier, the real estate sector in the Philippines, including the marketers and the real estate brokerage sector were warned to tighten its belt some more in terms of providing world-class and consumer-centric services, as the opening of the ASEAN integration is expected to bring in brokers from the ASEAN countries to participate in the brokerage business here. — (FREEMAN)
