CEBU, Philippines - Accenture was recently named to the Philippine Economic Zone Authority’s Hall of Fame of Outstanding Employers in the Philippines.
Representing President Benigno Aquino III, Hon. Jose Rene Almendras, Secretary to the Cabinet, presented the company with a trophy commemorating the event.
The PEZA citation calls Accenture one of the country’s best employers in 2010, 2011 and 2013 and recognizes the company’s “high regard for the welfare of its employees and for fostering a harmonious relationship between management and its workforce.â€
Lito Tayag, Accenture country managing director, received the award on behalf of the company’s more than 32,000 employees in Metro Manila and Cebu. “We are grateful to the PEZA for elevating us to the Hall of Fame of Outstanding Employers. This honor validates Accenture’s commitment not only to attracting and retaining the best talent, but also to showcasing world-class Filipino talent on the global outsourcing stage.â€

This is Accenture’s second Hall of Fame award from the PEZA. In 2011, the company was named to the PEZA Hall of Fame of Outstanding Exporters.
Earlier this year, Accenture was also the recipient of the Company of the Year honors by the International ICT Awards of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce and the Information Technology and Business Process Association of the Philippines. (FREEMAN)
