AGAPP and SHS-ADC Batch ‘88 turn over school bldg to Talamban

CEBU, Philippines - Aklat, Gabay, Aruga Tungo sa Pag-angat at Pag-asa (AGAPP) together with Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-ADC) Batch ‘88  turned over their  new preschool building to Talamban Elementary School last November 11, 2013.

AGAPP chairperson Pinky-Aquino Abellada initiated the ribbon-cutting and unveiling of the building’s marker with SHS-ADC donor Arch. Alan Choachuy, Vincent Ong of Tridharma, School Principal Michael Cabase and Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Rhea Mar Angtud.

The school faculty, kindergarten students and their parents joined the event along with the executive committee and members of Batch ‘88 and representatives from  AGAPP.

“AGAPP started three years ago when we saw that there was a big need for kinder classrooms.  Our first project started in Quezon and now we have 600 classrooms in all regions,” shared Aquino.

The project was named WeCare-AGAPP Preschool Building to highlight  AGAPP and Batch ‘88’s   advocacy for their Silver Jubilee Anniversary called “WeCare.” (FREEMAN)
