CEBU, Philippines - The Metro Department Stores and Supermarkets has announced the names of the 50 schools that have participated in the ongoing “Shop and Win for your School • Plus Win for Yourself†promo.
These schools earned various items and supplies from customers’ votes after the first draw last June 15 of five Samsung Galaxy Tabs to lucky voting customers in each of the Metro stores in Cebu – Colon, Ayala, Mandaue, Naga and Toledo.
Each school earned points from raffle stubs dropped in the box marked with its name inside the Metro store the schools participated in. They may exchange these points from an array of 20 items the Metro had designated with corresponding point values.
During the second draw of another set of five Samsung Galaxy Tabs to lucky voting customers on July 15, the top three of the 10 schools every Metro store covers will earn showcases of instructional equipment.
The school with the highest number of points will earn the Devant Audio-Video Educational Showcase, while the second placer will gain the HP Computer Showcase, and the third placer the Electrolux Livelihood Education Showcase.
Metro Colon included Abellana National School (ANS), Cebu Institute of Technology-University (CIT-U), Cebu Technological Sciences (CTS), Cebu Technological University (CTU), and Salazar Colleges of Science & Institute of Technology (SIT).
Metro Colon also brought in San Nicolas Elementary School (SNES), University of Cebu (UC-Main), University of San Jose-Recoletos (USJR-Main), and University of the Visayas (UV-Main).
Metro Ayala covered Mabolo Christian Academy (MCA), Mary Immaculate School (MIS), Philippine Sower Christian School (PSCS), San Isidro Parish School (SIPS), Saint Francis of Assisi School (SFAS), Sci-Tech Integrated Academy (STIA), Talamban Christian School (TCS), University of Southern Philippines Foundation (USP-F) and USC.
Metro Mandaue embraced Consolacion National High School, Labogon ES, Maguikay ES, Mayor A.S. Fortuna Memorial ES, Pagsabungan ES, San Roque Child Development School Montessori, Tabok I ES, Tabok II ES, The School of Mega Cognition, and Umapad ES.
Metro Naga took in Cantao-an ES, Cantao-an NHS, Cepoc Central School, Inayagan ES, Langtad NHS, Naga Central ES, Naga NHS, Pangdan NHS, Professional Academy of the Philippines, Siena School of Naga, and Tuyan ES.
Metro Toledo clinched Ibo ES, Kabitoonan ES, Luray II NHS Day, Luray II NHS Night, Magdugo ES, St. Bernard School, St. John de Sahagun Grammar School, South City Central School, Talavera ES, and UV-Toledo. (FREEMAN)
