CEBU, Philippines - Filipinos love to eat. Every milestone is celebrated with heaping plates of rice and countless delectable dishes, all served with love and pride. It is synonymous to Filipino cuisine whether you are a visitor to the island or a native who seek to find comfort in the cooking that almost rivals our mothers’.
Maybe it is the deep-fried and succulent Crispy Pata whose crunch delights any pork lover, or the hot and piping Prawn Sinigang that reminds you of the seaside and cool ocean breeze, or maybe it’s the incomparable Baked Scallops that could make you forget your date for the moment while you drown in its buttery goodness that draw wave after wave of happy and satisfied customers day in and day out. Not to mention the native desserts that serve as the perfect ending to such a glorious meal of Filipino favorites. Truly, Golden Cowrie has established itself as the ultimate go-to restaurant if you want to experience Filipino dining at its finest.
