CEBU, Philippines - The Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) is calling on its members to participate in the upcoming seminar that will discuss the updates and trends on the renewal and issuance of business permits.
To be held on December 19, at the Cebu Grand Hotel, the chamber said that several businesses and companies are again bound to have their respective permits be renewed.
With this, the CCCI will the conference dubbed “Updates and Trends on the Renewal and Issuance of Business Permits,” to inform the participants the basics and step-by-step process in the renewal of business permits in different local government units (LGUs) in Metro Cebu, specifically in Cebu City, Mandaue City and Lapu-Lapu City.
The different requirements and qualifications for the renewal of business permits will be highlighted in the conference including the Cebu City’s requirement which is the Environmental Sustainability Action Plan (ESAP).
ESAP is a requirement under Cebu City Ordinance 2243 or the Sustainable Development Ordinance of the City of Cebu, passed on June 23, 2010 where business operators who are renewing or applying for Business or Mayor’s Permit can be directed accordingly in formulating, implementing, and monitoring approaches and or activities for environmental sustainability that are suitable and appropriate at their level and type of operations.
Cebu City Councilor, Ma. Nida Cabrera, will talk about the ESAP requirement, which is a major requirement for business permit renewal in Cebu City.
Mario Corro, Social Security System (SSS) Branch Manager of Cebu City Office, will also tackle the topics regarding the issuance of SSS Unified Multipurpose ID. (FREEMAN)
