Threatened Viability
Numerous issues and concerns threaten the viability of existing car companies doing business in the country. These concerns include the increasing importation of used vehicles, tariff levels, and tax issues, among others.

According to Komura, it is not enough to give incentives to the automotive manufacturers to encourage the production of small cars with an engine displacement of less than 1000 cc.
