An initial report by the Bureau of Fire-Central revealed that the fire started in Room 244 on the second floor of the hotel located in Matalino Street, Diliman at around 6:45 a.m.
The occupant of the room was identified as Leandro Enriquez.
Case investigators Senior Fire Officer 3 Dionisio Cabote and SFO2 Virgilio Agpaoa said the fire destroyed a portion of the wall and cabinets.
