                    [Summary] => LEGAZPI CITY — The mayor of San Jacinto, Masbate died of heart attack while he was taking a bath Wednesday morning.


Mayor Emilio Asis Espinosa, 35, son of Rep. Tito Espinosa who was killed in an ambush in Quezon City in 1998, was preparing to take the early morning flight to Manila for his three-month-old son’s baptism in Quezon City on Saturday. He had two other children aged four and three.


The young Espinosa’s sister, Sandra, is the wife of Masbate first district Rep. Bong Bravo.

Sinabi ng mambabatas na nitong taong 2002 lamang, 51,000 katao (na tinatayang 75 katao isang araw) ang nasawi dahil sa nasabing sakit.


Ayon sa Department ng Health, ang TB ay siyang ika-5 killer disease sa bansa.
