MANILA, Philippines - Toshiba Information Equipment Philippines Inc., a subsidiary of Toshiba Digital Media Co., is investing an additional P110 million to expand its operations in the country.

According to Trade and Industry Secretary Juan B. Santos, Toshiba’s expansion is a vote of confidence in the country’s manufacturing capability and its attractiveness to lure foreign investments especially in critical industries.

Various products using HDD appear in the market not only for information systems but also consumer products.
